Happy Solstice !

“The Winter Solstice is a great time to get together with family and friends, put up some decorations, exchange gifts, and share a meal.  It is a celebration of life!”

This  celebration  arise  from when the  earth  don’t   go   around  the   sun  in  a   circle; causing   an  ellipse . Then    when   we  are   at  a  point  furthest   from the  sun ; along   with   an   inclination  of  the  earth ; then   will  solstice.  This   happens   twice    a   year   in  June   and   December  when  the  sun   reaches  its   greatest  distance  of  celestial  equator.   In   June  the    sun   reaches  the    northernmost   point   of the  celestial  sphere  and  in  December  when   it   reaches    its   southernmost   point .   Solstice in December  is  when the  days   are   the   shortest  in  our   hemisphere.
